About us
Jackson Bly was established in 1980 in Beeston, Nottingham with just two partners and a secretary. More than 25 years later it now has three partners, employs about 20 full time staff members and services a client base that has increased over 16 times that of the early start-up days. The firm works from purpose-built offices in Chilwell benefiting from good links to the M1 and close to the centre of Nottingham.

Richard Jackson Senior partner and founder of Jackson Bly sadly passed away aged 58, on 1 December 2007.
A familiar and extremely popular face of Nottingham's business community, Richard enjoyed much of his life in the city which he loved and made it the home of his family and his successful firm, Jackson Bly.
Jackson Bly celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2005 and it was testament to Richard and fellow founding partner, Roger Bly's unique, warm and jovial style of consultancy that many of the business relationships that they started with had stayed with them until that day. Roger retired in 2005 and Richard, with partners Jeff Parr and Liz Searby, began to establish the successful foundations for Jackson Bly's future.
Richard leaves behind his beloved wife Nicky, sons Mark and Robert and granddaughter Gracie.
He also leaves behind his "second family", Jackson Bly partners Jeff and Liz his 'right hand woman' Carolyn, and the team of 17 at the firm's Chilwell offices, who continue to build on Richard's foundations.
